On the Easel

Early Spring in the Hills of California  is my most recent painting. I expect that this may be the beginning of a new series, however small.  

The photo that I used for inspiration I took when we were on the road.  We were on the last part of Hwy 60 before it joins the 10.  It is a beautiful winding road where there are not any buildings, but hills that seem to go one forever.
